Youngsters at the Garth and Priory Schools in Spalding had a fantastic final week before moving on to secondary education.
The Year 11 pupils had a fun-packed activity few days, culminating in an Hawaiian-themed leavers’ prom.
Joined by children from Year 10, they arrived in various modes of transport and danced the night away to a disco, also enjoying a buffet.
“They all had a lovely time,” said Year 11 teaching assistant Rebecca Mitchie, who organised the event.
“They have all grown up and fled the nest now. It’s really sad to see them all go but a nice way to send them on their way.”
During their special week the children had a day at Freiston activity centre, watched Wicked in London, had fish and chips in Hunstanton, attended the water park at Burghley House, played ten pin bowling at Spalding’s Alley Catz and enjoyed a leavers’ lunch together.

On their final day at school parents came in for a special assembly where each child was given a school hoodie and presented with all the certificates they had earned during their time at the schools.
Many of the students will start University Academy Holbeach in September, with others going to Boston College and Stamford College.
