Youngsters at Clough and Risegate Primary School in Gosberton Clough and their families managed to fill 48 boxes for this year’s Rotary Shoebox Scheme.
The scheme was started in 1994 as a Christmas appeal but now sees gifts sent out throughout the year to many different countries in central and eastern Europe
Senior teacher Carrie Hazlehurst said: “We are so proud of our children and their 52 families who sent in gifts for all different age groups in order to fill the boxes.
“What an amazing achievement for such a small, rural primary school. Thank you to all who contributed.”
