Driving ban for Spalding man after being caught behind the wheel over alcohol limit in Double Street
A 47-year-old Spalding man has been banned from driving for 20 months after admitting driving with excess alcohol.
Andrejus Arsitovas was stopped by police in Double Street on November 30, at 8.45pm because of the standard of his driving and gave a reading of 81 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Arsitovas, of Double Street, was offered the drink drivers' course by Boston Magistrates yesterday (Wednesday, December 19) which will reduce the period of the ban by 20 weeks, and was ordered to pay a total of £442 in fines, costs and charges.
