Show starring Spalding's Domenique hitting our screens this week

A blockbuster television show starring an actress from Spalding is set to hit our screens tomorrow (Monday).

Domenique Fragale, who first appears in the second episode of The Nevers, stars in the show alongside the likes of James Norton, Laura Donelly and Ann Skelly, as Beth Cassini, an Italian immigrant who moved to London for a better life.

However, in the programme, Victorian London is rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event which gives certain people - mostly women - abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. And Beth's superpower mixed with her background leads to a difficult life.

Domenique said: "I'm really excited for my friends and family to see the show - it's already been shown in America and my friends and family over there have been really encouraging about it.

"It's got something in it for everyone; sci-fi, fantasy, romance, action and comedy, with my character arriving in the second episode.

"As long as people enjoy it, that's the main thing to me."

The Nevers will be broadcast on Sky Atlantic on Monday, May 17 at 10:10pm.
