KIDS are walking dog poo into Surfleet Primary School because owners fail to clean-up after their pets.
Surfleet Parish Council is being given three new dog mess bins costing around £250 each and will put them in School Crescent, Kingfisher Close and Main Road, opposite the Mermaid.
The parish council also decided on Tuesday to install an extra rubbish bin in Reservoir Road.
Coun Fran Healands said: “I am worried about the excrement on the pavements that kids walk into school.
“It also gets walked into the shop.”
She said there is no law enforcement other than telling dog owners to use the red bins.
