PALM Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel on Sunday is at 10.30am.
STUDENTS, who are on their way to their annual pilgrimage at Walsingham, will be staying at Crowland Methodist Chapel overnight on Monday before continuing on their long march after breakfast.
CROWLAND Cares can now offer a free new service, provided by a professional, in Crowland Library giving advice, help and assistance with writing CVs, job applications, developing interview techniques and letter writing. ENTERTAINMENT this weekend at Donington and Quadring Royal British Legion Social Club includes dancing to Mr Music, tomorrow, doors open 7pm, members £2.50, non members £3.50. On Saturday the lounge will be open but there will be no entertainment. Sunday lounge open noon–2pm, no entertainment, lounge re-opens at 7pm with entertainment from Billy J. Members £1.50, non members £2.50. Bingo is held every Wednesday in the main hall. Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

WOMEN’S Institute meets on April 9 in the Public Hall at 7.15pm and there will be a talk on the history of Doddington Hall and tapestries. Competition is flower of the month and there will be a general bring and buy.

Gosberton Clough and Risegate
NEXT Messy Church at Gosberton Clough Methodist is on April 5 at 3.30pm.
COFFEE afternoon at Gosberton Risegate Methodist Church on Saturday at 1.30pm. There will be the usual stalls and competitions.
A SPECIAL bingo at the community centre on March 15 for Macmillan Cancer Support raised £1,220.
CASH bingo and prize raffle is on Tuesday in the village hall. Eyes down 7.30pm. Refreshments available or bring a bottle.
A BINGO will be held in the village hall on April 10 for Carter’s Park Bowls Club. Doors open 6.30pm for eyes down 7.30pm. There will also be a cake stall and raffle.
SPALDING Royal Air Forces Association annual meeting is on Monday at Grenoble, 1 Cowbit Road, at 7pm.
SPALDING East Townswomen’s Guild annual meeting is on Tuesday in the boys’ library at the Gleed School at 7pm. This will be followed by a cheese and wine evening and a quiz. Please go along if you would like to join the members.
TICKETS are still available for the concert by Voices Unplugged and the Ukulele Orchestra, which takes place at Broad Street Methodist Church on Saturday at 7pm. Proceeds are for the church’s Vision 21 project and tickets can be obtained from 01775 769438. Last week’s coffee morning raised £220 towards flowers for the flower festival.

ST Bartholomew’s monthly coffee morning in church is on Saturday, 10am-noon. Refreshments, cakes, books, bring and buy. A parish councillor and district councillor will be available if there are any issues you wish to discuss. A PCSO calls in when other duties permit. All welcome to this social time.
ST Bartholomew’s School pupils and staff will be in church next Wednesday at 9.15am for their Easter Service and warmly welcomes anyone who wishes to join them. Refreshments will be available in church after the service.
ON Good Friday, March 29, children are invited to St Bartholomew’s at 10.30am to make an Easter garden to take home. All children welcome, but if they are not registered as a member of GLU they must be accompanied by an adult. At 11am everyone is welcome to join members for hot cross buns and drinks, and at 11.30am there will be a Stations of the Cross Service, suitable for all ages.
