NETWORK group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 2.30pm in the Chapel for friendship, fellowship and caring, plus handicrafts.
THERE is a roller disco at the community centre tonight from 6.30pm to 8pm for junior school ages, families and beginners. There is a later session from 8.15pm to 9.30pm for secondary school ages and advanced skaters. Entry is £3.80 entry with an extra £1.20 for skate hire if needed. Refreshments will be available.
The community centre AGM is on Tuesday, June 18, 7pm when a new committee will be elected.

SEVERAL people from Gosberton go along to the special events at the Gosberton Clough methodist church. In the South Holland Plan, it states that the Clough chapel has a sacred concert on Thursday, June 6, but it should have read a Songs of Praise on Saturday , July 6 to coincide with the chapel anniversary. It will be followed by a strawberry supper.
LINCOLNSHIRE Police will have a surgery in the Gosberton church hall on June 5 from 10am to noon.

USED postage stamps are being collected for the St Barnabas Hospice and can be left in a tub at the back of Gosberton St Peter and St Paul’s church or handed in at the Quadring Post Office. A small border is required around the stamp.
NEXT fun and fellowship on a Friday at the Gosberton Baptist Church is on May 31 from 2pm to 4pm with table games,coffee and cakes.
THIS year marks the 60th birthday of Gosberton House School. The school is proud of its achievements over the years and will be holding a special celebration afternoon on Friday, June 21 at 1pm. Along with sports day, the school will be releasing balloons and having a barbecue and refreshments. It will be wonderful if former pupils and staff can go along to join in and share some memories. WITH summer late arriving in the area, the atmosphere will be very warm in Holbeach when the United Services Club in Church Street hold their Hawaiian Family Night event on Saturday, June 1. At the May meeting Pat Read, a WI Advisor, read out this years National Resolution,The Decline of our High Streets and Town Centres. The job of the WI is to campaign to bring back life to high street areas and campaign against car parking charges. After a lively discussion members unanimously voted to accept this resolution. Our president announced that this year’s fundraising event would be a Strawberry Tea on Sunday 7 July in Kirkby Underwood Village Hall for families and friends. The next meeting will be a talk on Doddington Hall and Gardens, on June 6. On July 4 the topic will be ‘Images of Body Language’ in Rippingale Village Hall at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome.
