DURING this winter the Gosberton Bowls and Snooker Club has been preparing the bowling green for the spring start to the season. Games have been arranged ready for the new season and new people are welcome, either to play or watch the play. The subscription provides not only for bowls but also for snooker and billiards. GOSBERTON Ladies’ Circle is having a baking competition on Thursday, March 14, at 7.30pm. Members will bake a favourite cake, take it along with the recipe for inclusion in the Ladies Circle recipe book. Proceeds will go for the purchase of a chemotherapy pump for ward 7A at the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. Admission is £3.
