Why some people are regarded as heroes, whilst others are thought of as villains? Why different generations remember people in different ways? To some people Nelson Mandela is a terrorist, yet to others he was a freedom fighter, and now he is a respected elder statesman. Why do attitudes to people change over time? Come along and find out. Everyone is welcome at our talks, whether they are members of the Historical Association or not. Our meetings take place in Little Hale Methodist Chapel. Tea and biscuits are available from 4pm, and the talk begins at 4.30pm. For more details contact the Secretary, Alf Wilkinson, on 01529 460553.
