Gosberton Clough and

Gosberton Clough methodist church was the venue for a very good Messy Church on Friday. Fifteen children really enjoyed themselves making balloon animals – the girls made bracelets and the boys made cards. All made pom poms and many of them did glitter painting. The young people made hama designs – some are using them at Christmas – four poems were read out, there was marching and singing and all tucked in to fish fingers, chips, beans, jelly, cake and juice.

Gosberton and District Churches Together have a beetle drive at the Gosberton Risegate Duke of York on Thursday, June 26 at 7.30pm. All welcome.

SOME information in the RAFA report in last week’s Spalding Guardian was incorrectly supplied. We reported that Mr M Stafford was presented with a silver salva, whisky and chocolates on behalf of the branch. The Holbeach branch has asked us to point out that the salva was paid for from RAFA funds, the whisky was donated to Mr and Mrs Stafford by the chairman and his wife, and the chocolates were a gift from Mr and Mrs Frank Sauntson.
