BEETLE drive at the church hall on Friday, January 31, at 7pm; £2 adults, £1 children, a fun night for all. 


THE next Fenland Flywheelers monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, February 5 in the function suite of the United Services Club, Church Street, Holbeach. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. The subject will be Claas tractors and allied products and services with guest speaker Alistair McCallum who is a well known and acknowledged expert on the make with hands on experience. He will be able to answer any questions during the evening. Everyone welcome. Admission is free admission and light refreshments will be served. ALL churches within the Gosberton group are reminded that there is a Women’s World Day of Prayer preparation day at the Broad Street Methodist Schoolroom, Spalding, on Friday, February 7, at 10.30am.

GOSBERTON Public Hall Trust also has a meeting on February 17 at 7.30pm.


HOLBEACH and District Civic Society has a talk on the Lincolnshire Regiment in the First World War by Dr Katherine Storr, on Thursday, February 6, 7.30pm, in the Reading Room, Church Street. Light refreshments will be provided. Members £3, visitors £4.

GOT a new camera and having a few problems finding your way round the instructions? Then Pinchbeck Photographic Group may be able to help you. They are getting some of their more experienced members together on Thursday at 7.30pm for the sole aim of helping you, the beginners to the noble art of photography, to understand the elements of your new toy. The session in the pavilion of Pinchbeck East Primary School in Fennell Road, is £2. Just pop along with your camera and instruction booklet.
