South Holland towns and villages are to host a series of disability forums later this month

People with disabilities in South Holland and their carers can share experiences and ideas at a series of forums this month.

Sutton Bridge, Crowland, Donington, Holbeach and Spalding are hosting the forums, between October 14 and 26, put on by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS) and South Holland District Council.

It is hoped that a new South Holland Disability Forum can be set up and LCVS project leader Katy Gale said: "We want as many people who have a disability, or who support someone with a disability, to come along to one of these events.

"Each one offers a chance for people to meet and share their views in a positive, respectful environment.

"We want to make these events as accessible as possible so please do let us know if there is anything we can do to make it easier for you to participate.

"In addition, we want to hear what you have to say so we can create a group that focuses on what is important to you."

Tonic Health, off Westlode Street, Spalding, is hosting one of five forums for people with disabilities and their carers on Saturday, October 26, from 10.30am until noon.
