A motorist is to stand trial next year accused of causing the death of a 27 year old cyclist.

Paul Walken (42), of Chapel Lane, Folkingham, pleaded not guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of Timothy Osborne on September 14, 2012, when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Courton Friday.

Judge Mark Rogers adjourned the hearing for a five day trial to take place in February.

Walken was granted unconditional bail.

Timothy Osborn, who lived in Pode Hole near Spalding, failed to return home after setting off to cycle home from work. His body was found alongside the A151 Bourne Road, Spalding.
