Spalding-area suspected dementia sufferers facing long wait for diagnosis

Patients with suspected dementia and their families are experiencing long delays waiting for an important diagnosis.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust says it is reviewing waiting lists for its memory clinics, particularly in the Spalding area.

The trust, which looks after mental health services in the county, says that the Covid-19 pandemic had increased referrals from GPs.
