Decision due on Crowland Radar Corner traffic scheme

The future of a controversial traffic scheme at Crowland’s notorious Radar Corner junction will be decided next week.

Lincolnshire County Council’s Planning and Regulation Committee will be considering whether to go ahead with the £78,000 traffic trial plans at a meeting on Monday next week.

Residents and farmers spoke out earlier this year against the proposal to introduce water filled barriers that would prevent cars from crossing between Hull’s Drove and James Road. These would also prevent traffic going south on theA16 turning into James Road.
