SPALDING cinema-goers can look forward to a better experience with the launch of a new 3D system.

The South Holland Centre has installed the top of the range digital Xpand system which will deliver a high quality, clear and crisp 2D and 3D viewing experience from Monday, July 18.

The 3D screenings are being launched with motorcycling epic TT3D: Closer to the Edge, followed by James Cameron’s box office smash Avatar.

The centre will be screening all the big summer holiday films in both 3D and 2D, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Kung Fu Panda, Harry Potter, Cars, Horrid Henry and The Smurfs.

Glasses hire is included in the 3D ticket prices of £7.50, £6.50 or £25 for a family ticket.
