Can you give this lovely trio a home together?
Here's the weekly 'Man's Best Friend' column by staff at Jerry Green dog rescue...
We are currently looking for a home for our lovely trio of Frank, Eric and Mavis.
They have been together for quite a long time and can often be found snuggled up on their bed together.
Frank, who is a four-year-old Border terrier cross, is a happy young chap who loves nothing more than exploring with his little family.
Mavis is an eight-year-old Border terrier, who also quite likes exploring, although she is partial to a little cuddle on the sofa.
Eric is a sweet old Shih Tzu with ongoing medical issues, but our team here can tell you all about that.
They are looking for a home with a nice garden where they can all potter and explore together.
They would not like to live in a busy area, and low dog-populated areas would be necessary for any walks as they can all be a bit worried by other dogs.
A home with no pets would be ideal for the trio – we think the three of them will be more than enough company, and they certainly have a lot of love to go around.
They could live with children that are KS4 and older, but this would be pending introductions.
The trio could be left for one to two hours and this could possibly be built up over time.
While they’re settling in they would prefer to have a low amount of visitors, just so that they can really make themselves at home.
So if you think they are the trusty trio for you then please contact the Jerry Green team here at the South Lincs Centre on 01205 260546 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our dogs are running out of training treats!
Here at Jerry Green we are currently running quite low on our training treats.
These are vital to the work that we do here, and help our dogs a whole lot.
We use the treats for lots of different things such as training, giving medication and making friends.
If you have a tin of hot dogs or a tube of squeezy cheese lying around we would certainly be grateful for it, and our dogs would be over the moon.Schmacos and other training treats would also be amazing!
