Crowland mum Margaret Arbon had won her bid to keep a children’s playgroup running in the town in 1979.

The group had been set up because the main community playgroup was full.

Mrs Arbon had been ordered to stop using part of her house in St Guthlac’s Close as a pre-school playgroup because of complaints.

However, Mrs Arbon was hopeful that the group would be able to continue after the summer holidays in two rooms in Crowland’s old primary school building.
