Crowland homes at Crease Drove get go-ahead after changes to plan

Including a boundary fence and the re-planning of a proposed 47-home development at Crease Drove, Crowland, has resulted in its approval.

Councillors were concerned at a previous meeting about the allocation of parking spaces and open plan feel of the site on to Crease Drove, opposite Crowland Cranes.

Ward counillor Angela Harrison said in a report: "Pleased to see the changes that the applicant has made to the layout and especially with regards to the parking spaces.

"Although the railings are a great idea to prevent children, dogs and footballs etc from straying onto Crease Drove, I would like to see some planting to help screen the industrial area opposite and make the open space a more relaxing space."

Cllr Bryan Alcock added: "I am pleased the applicant has amended the application. I note it is proposed to fence the green area adjacent to Crease Drove. However, can I request that some planting is included in the landscaping requirements."
