Have your say

Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance unit manager Roger Linnell took one of the injured to hospital in King’s Lynn.

He said the crew was able to get the the 49-year-old man to hospital in just eight minutes and feels it was fortunate that no one was killed in the ten-vehicle pile up.

He said: “When we got there, there were cars in ditches, cars crashed, people trapped and there were quite a lot of walking wounded.

“It had the potential to be very serious – I think it was everyone’s lucky day.”
