Threat to shop’s alcohol licence

Have your say

AN OFF-licence in Sutton Bridge has had its licence put under review.

Lincolnshire Police has asked South Holland District Council to look at the licence held by Gurjit Sangha for Bargain Booze after age-restricted goods were sold to an underage person in a spot check operation in September.

The sale was also found to have been made by a foreign national with no permission to work in the UK. He was detained by the UK Border Agency.

The review application is now in a representation period until November 14. A hearing date has not yet been set.
