LEAD flashing and electric cabling has been stolen in two separate incidents in Holbeach.
Several properties in Oakwood Glade were targeted overnight last Tuesday and lead was stripped from above bay windows.
Motorists were also forced to face disruption on Saturday as cabling was stolen from temporary traffic lights on Ravens Gate.
PC Mary Glenwright said: “Lead thieves have targeted properties this way in the past and, with the current high value of scrap lead, this type of flashing above windows remains vulnerable.
“We urge residents to keep a vigilant eye, to report all suspicious persons and vehicles and to consider the use of property marking systems such as SmartWater.”
