Theft spree across South Holland

Farming equipment and tools are amongst items stolen in a series of thefts across South Holland over the past two weeks.

The most recent involved a 53-plated JCB teleporter stolen from Bells Drove, Sutton St James, between 5pm last Tuesday and 11am on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a 2010-plated John Deere tractor and orange farm trailer were both stolen on Winters Lane, Long Sutton, between 7pm last Monday and 7am on Tuesday.

A farm in Holbeach St Marks was targeted by thieves who stole tools and two tractor batteries between 6pm on Sunday September 29 and 6am on Monday September 30.

In Sutton Bridge, a sat nav was stolen from a vehicle parked on East Bank between 5pm on Wednesday September 25 and 3.50pm on Monday September 30.

Finally, an eight-metre section of metal guttering protector was taken from a building on North Road, Gedney Hill, between noon on September 21 and 2.50pm on September 23.

It was then stolen between 2.50pm on September 23 and 1.30pm on September 24.
