SPALDING woman Charlotte Piccaver was ordered to pay a total of £135 in a fine and costs after police twice found her swearing in the street in the early hours.

Piccaver (25), of The Square, off Church Street, was seen in Sheep Market, Spalding, at 2.15am on July 2 arguing with a man and swearing at him.

Rebecca Ritson, prosecuting, said police encountered her again in Station Street at 2.35am when she was swearing at the same man and using abusive language towards passers-by.

Piccaver, who was unrepresented, told Spalding magistrates: “Whatever I am going to say isn’t going to make any difference, is it? I have pleaded guilty to it.”

Piccaver admitted the public order offence and breaching a conditional discharge.

Magistrates on Thursday imposed a further conditional discharge for 12 months.
