Stone-throwing spree in Deeping St James

A trio of incidents where stones were thrown at a house, vehicle and school, all in Deeping St James, are being dealt with by police.

The most recent case involved a gang of people who damaged windows and window frames at The Deepings School in Park Road, at about 7pm on Saturday.

Later the same evening, vandals smashed a window by throwing stones at a house in Park Road at about 7.35pm.

Both cases follow an incident in Swallow Walk where someone threw stones at a vehicle, causing some damage, between March 23 and 24.

Anyone with information should call 101, stating incidents 377 of March 31, 404 of March 29 and 225 of March 29 respectively.

In a separate incident, a motorcycle has had its number plate stolen while parked in Meadow Close, Bourne.

Police believe the number plate was stolen some time between March 23 and 30.
