Row clue to act of vandalism

POLICE are hoping a couple’s argument could be the vital clue to an act of “mindless vandalism” in Spalding.

A man lashed out at the wing mirror of a Volkswagen Passat parked in Park Avenue during a row with a woman that was caught on CCTV.

Two men and a woman, all white and in their 20s, were seen to come out of a side street as the argument began.

The row was between a man in a grey T-shirt and jeans and a woman with mousy hair wearing a light brown dress.

A second man wore a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

PC David Doe said: “CCTV shows a man arguing with a woman and kicking a wing mirror, leaving it hanging.

“It was an act of mindless vandalism.”

Anyone with information on the incident, which happened in the early hours of Monday, May 28, can call PC Doe on 101, ex 2626.
