A MOTORIST seen swerving all over the road by police was found to be more than twice the legal drink-drive limit.

Daniel Kuropatwa (25), of Jubilee Close, Spalding, spoke through an interpreter to apologise for his behaviour and said he will not drive again after he was caught with 86 microgrammes of alcohol on 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

He was banned from driving for 22 months, which he can reduce to 17 months if he completes a driver rehabilitation course, aftre admitting drink-driving in Northgate, Pinchbeck, on June 9.

He also admitted driving without insurance, for which he was given eight penalty points and a six-month concurrent driving ban under the totting-up procedure.

There was no separate penalty for driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
