A BOY of nine had his treasured bike stolen from a Spalding primary school.
Conner McKue left the red BMX bicycle at St Paul’s Primary because his mum, Tammy, couldn’t collect him on Friday.
Tammy had to go instead to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital by ambulance with her baby son, Kayden, aged nine months, who needed urgent nebuliser treatment to ease breathing difficulties.
The boys’ grandma, Evelyn McKue, picked up Conner and his younger brother, Bradley (8), but the bike was forgotten about.
Tammy said: “It was there on Saturday morning but couldn’t be taken out because the gates were locked – between Saturday and Monday somebody must climbed over the fence and got it.”
The mum, from Fulney Avenue, is appealing for anyone who has seen the bike – which has black writing and possibly the word ‘vibe’ on it – to come forward because she can’t afford to buy another bike until Christmas.
Tammy said: “Connor loves riding his bike and it’s something he won’t be able to do now.”
