A LITHUANIAN man denied possessing a prohibited weapon and ammunition when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.

Mantas Magila (24), of St John’s Road, Spalding, also pleaded not guilty to possessing 229.7 grammes of cannabis and 40 tablets with intent to supply others and having a false Lithuanian driving licence.

All the offences are alleged to have occurred on September 21 last year.

Judge Sean Morris adjourned the case for trial at Lincoln Crown Court in mid-September.

Magila was granted bail on condition that he reports to the police and surrenders his passport.
