Man charged with burglary at Spalding church

A 26-year-old man has appeared in court accused of burglary at a church in Spalding where cash and cheque books were stolen

Pawel Placzkiewicz (26), of Larkspur Way, Spalding, was remanded in custody until December 19 after a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.

Placzkiewicz is charged with a burglary at St Norbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St Thomas’s Road, on September 26.

He was arrested by police the next day and appeared before Lincoln magistrates who sent the case to the city’s crown court.
