Man beaten up on night out

SPALDING police have just revealed that a man of 18 was kicked in the face and then punched and kicked in two unprovoked attacks in the early hours of Sunday, October 2.

The man, from Pinchbeck, needed hospital treatment for minor injuries including bruising following the assaults between midnight and 1.15am in the town’s Sheep Market and Winsover Road.

Police are seeking witnesses to help them trace the men responsible.

The first is white and aged in his 20s. He may have been out with two younger women.

The second man is also in his 20s and was part of a separate group.

PC Spicer said: “They appear to be unprovoked attacks on a young man who was enjoying a warm night out with friends. We are just keen to trace witnesses that might have seen it.”

He said the victim was “in some pain and discomfort” after being hit.
