Further arrest in kidnap case involving MP’s aide

A THIRD man has been arrested in connection with the kidnap of a man from Holbeach Clough.

The 40-year-old was arrested in his home town of Hastings yesterday (Wednesday) and brought to Spalding Police Station.

Police say he is helping officers with their enquiries into the kidnap of Lawrence Marshall on January 30.

Craig Jackson (39), of Wharf Street, Sutton Bridge, who is aide to South Holland and the Deepings MP John Hayes, was previously charged with kidnap and remanded in custody.

Mr Jackson is also charged with possession of cannabis.

A second man, Andrew Sayer, of Moons Green, Moulton, has also be charged with the offence.

Two women, Angela Skeels, of Crown Lodge, Holbeach Clough, and Georgina Page, of Estuary Close, Kings Lynn, have been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

All four will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on April 26.
