A 36-year-old man from Holbeach has been found guilty of manslaughter after the death of his cellmate at a Lincoln prison.

Krysztof Mroz, formerly of Spencer Gardens, Holbeach, is due to be sentenced at Stafford Crown Court tomorrow after being convicted of causing the death of Alan Goode (73) who was found dead in his cell on Thursday, October 31 2013.

Mroz was initially arrested on suspicion of the murder of Mr Goode who was from Wigston, Leicester.

But after a trial lasting four days before His Honour Judge John Wait, Mroz was eventually found guilty of manslaughter with diminished responsibility.
