A MAN accused of causing the deaths of two women by driving dangerously has been sent for trial by Spalding magistrates to Lincoln Crown Court.

Robin Settle (55), of Cherry Walk, Boston, is charged with causing the death of Jean Moore by driving a VW Golf dangerously on the A52 Bridge End Causeway, near Donington, on October 27 last year.

He is also accused of causing the death of Eileen Williams in the same way on the same day.

Spalding magistrates on Thursday extended Settle’s unconditional bail to the plea and directions hearing at the crown court on June 28.
