A MAN charged with driving with excess alcohol had his case adjourned to September 6 by Spalding magistrates on Thursday because an interpreter’s car had broken down on the way to court.

Vadims Zmicerevskis (33), of Kellett Gate, Low Fulney, is accused of driving with 107 microgrammes of alcohol in breath – more than three times the legal limit – on The Crescent, Spalding, on August 7.

He is also accused of driving without insurance on the same occasion.
