Denies charge over fox cubs

A MAN who pleads not guilty to aiding and abetting an unknown person to abandon seven fox cubs in a sack and fail to ensure their needs were met will be tried at Spalding Magistrates’ Court on a date to be fixed.

John Bycroft (67), of Weston Hills Road, Low Fulney, denies two similar matters on the same date, April 25 last year, involving six and five fox cubs.

Spalding magistrates on Thursday adjourned the cases to June 20 so a trial date can be agreed.

The cases have been brought by the RSPCA.
