A man has today (Wednesday) pleaded not guilty to religiously aggravated common assault on a Gosberton vicar, the Rev Ian Walters.
Victor Turner (64) denies committing four offences involving Mr Walters at Quadring on January 28.
As well as religiously aggravated common assault, he is accused of common assault, religiously aggravated criminal damage to car keys belonging to Mr Walters and criminal damage to car keys belonging to Mr Walters.
Boston magistrates today adjourned the case to June 4 so Turner, of Westhorpe Road, Gosberton, can be legally represented in court.
Turner was granted conditional bail.
