A series of crashes along the A16 has prompted fresh calls for the road to be dualled and have a roundabout.

Crowland Parish Council feels that the stretch of road close to the town should be dualled in order to help prevent future crashes.

The A16 at Crowland was closed for 10 hours on Monday last week following a collision involving a an Iveco lorry and a silver Mercedes C class which resulted in four people being taken to hospital.
