Residents in Market Deeping were treated to some cracking Easter fun as a way of saying thank you for supporting local retailers.
An Easter Fun Day was held at the Deeping Shopping Centre car park on Saturday with attractions to entertain all of the family.
There was an Easter egg hunt for children with prizes, a decorated hard-boiled egg competition, face painting, balloon modelling and a fairground ride.
Winner of the best handpainted egg competition was Poppy Fenwick with her ‘Eggasaurus’.
Kevin Smith, manager of Deeping Shopping Centre, was delighted with the response to the event.
He said: “We organised it so there were free events for the children and a craft and gift market for the adults.
“All the retailers took part in a ‘find the egg in the shop window’ competition and everyone seemed to be having great fun – not a thought for the TV or their computers.
“This was our second event and we are hoping to develop it. It’s our way of saying thank you to our customers.”
