Covid test site in Spalding car park until end of June
Spalding will play host to a Covid test site until at least the end of June.
People who display Covid symptoms are now being sent to a section as the back of Vine Street car park for a PCR test.
The site, accessed off Bedford Place behind Amici restaurant, is the home of the mobile test site that had previously been parked at the Fun Farm in Weston, before restrictions were eased.
Andy Fox, county assistant director of public health, said: "The mobile covid testing unit has moved to Vine Street car park and will be there until at least the end of June. It has had to move from the Fun Farm which has now reopened and is of course using the car park for customers.
"The mobile testing unit is moved regularly to where it's most needed and Spalding is a key location without a PCR testing site.
"We would urge all people who have symptoms to book to use the mobile testing site."
