COURT REGISTER: Who’s been before the bench...




The following decisions have been made by magistrates at court hearings. In all drink-drive cases, the legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, 80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood or 107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. Addresses of defendants published here are taken from the legal records held by the magistrates’ courts. V/S means victim surcharge.

Boston Magistrates’ Court

January 31

Lukasz Dzikowski (37), of Winsover Road, Spalding. Had in a public place an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a long narrow knife (Spalding). Community order with 150 hours unpaid work, £85 v/s, £85 costs, knife destroyed. Had in a public place an offensive weapon, namely a shuriken. Community order with 150 hours unpaid work. Shuriken destroyed. Possession of amphetamine. Community order with 150 hours unpaid work. Drugs destroyed.

James Lenihan (24), of Bath Road, Eye. Breach of the peace. Bound over in the sum of £100 for one year to keep the peace.

Benjamin Rodgers (55), of Dozens Bank, West Pinchbeck. Criminal damage (West Pinchbeck). £400 compensation, £85 costs.

Antony Taylor (24), of Bader Road, Wolverhampton. Assault (Spalding). Community order with 100 hours unpaid work, rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order. Criminal damage. Community order with 100 hours unpaid work, £50 compensation, £85 v/s, £85 costs. No adjudication for commission of a further offence whilst subject to conditional discharge. A community order with 100 hours unpaid work was made in respect of two original offences of which conditional discharges were made.

February 2

Garry Atkinson (57), of Whitacre, Parnwell, Peterborough. In charge of a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol (Spalding). £160 fine, £30 v/s, £300 costs, disqualified from driving for 6 months.

Thomas Sunman (26), of The Cottages, Kirton Drove. Intentionally sexually touched a woman without her consent (Ingoldmells). 10 weeks prison sentence suspended for 1 year, 100 hours unpaid work, £100 compensation, £115 v/s, £320 costs, requirement to register with police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act.

Anatolijs Zelenkovs (44), of Hannam Boulevard, Spalding. Assault. Community order with 150 hours unpaid work, rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order, £300 compensation, £85 v/s, £200 costs. Assault (Boston). Community order with 150 hours unpaid work, restraining order.

February 5

Lee Harris (30), of County Road, March. Failed to stop after an accident (Fosdyke). £600 fine, £60 v/s, £200 costs, 8pts. No separate penalty for failing to report an accident, driving without due care and attention and no insurance.

Lee Dobney (26), of Park Lane, Surfleet. Drink driving (Stamford). £250 fine, disqualified from driving for 28 days.
