Cash boost for Spalding's St Nicolas Players

St Nicolas Players has received a boost towards its forthcoming productions after a donation from a South Holland District councillor.

Coun Angela Newton continued her support for the cause of community theatre in the area by giving £500 from her ward budget towards the shows Darling Buds Of May and The Vigil. The Vigil director Martin Tyrrell said: "Angela has always supported local amateur theatre, as well as other aspects of local arts.

"It is support like this that allows us to continue delivering high quality entertainment to the people of Spalding."
