Donington parish councillor calls for greater police presence in village to combat problems

Calls have been made for a greater police presence to help combat problems within a village.

Donington parish councillor Lizzie Wray wants more police in the village after raising issues with vigilantes taking ‘matters into their own hands’.

In recent weeks, the village’s community centre has been broken into while the last parish council meeting heard that there were also issues with teenagers taking drugs.
