SOUTH Holland District Council’s public loos at Sutton Bridge will remain shut all year.

The council is giving £2,500 to The Curlew Centre so its loos can open to the public, but there is no start date for the opening although it is expected to happen soon.

The council toilets shut before Christmas after being vandalised but there is no news on what will happen to them.

Council portfolio holder Roger Gambba-Jones, who oversees issues including operational planning, said the authority is looking at “the possibilities for provision in the years to come”.
