Council backs Red Lion bail out

COUNCIL tax payers will foot the bill for a near £140,000 bail out of the troubled Red Lion Quarter in Spalding between now and February.

South Holland District Council last night (Wednesday) agreed figures which include clearing the £45,957 debts owed by the Community Interest Company (CIC) which ran the centre and the council’s own liability of £40,250.
