Flooding: South Holland District Council and Lincolnshire firefighters kept busy

South Holland District Council says it has received more than 100 reports of minor roof leaks in the last 24 hours from tenants due to the adverse weather.

If you've been affected, they are promising to be in touch soon to arrange an inspection.

A spokesman said: "Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have also received in excess of 100 flood-related calls.

Although the rain has stopped in most areas now, heavy downpours are expected later today and tomorrow, with showers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Next week looks to be much more settled.
