The newscomes as volunteer groups set up to help people through the coronavirus outbreak are busy with calls.
Spalding COVID Kindness Team - which can be found on Facebook - now has 300 volunteers and eight teams.
Founder Keira Williamson said: " We've taken coming up to 75 support request calls and they're still coming in thick and fast.
"We are now encouraging our volunteers to sign up to the NHS scheme as it's just been introduced.
"We will still be able to offer emotional support via telephone but to keep the safety of our volunteers and community at the forefront of what we do, essential shopping items and prescription pick ups will be signposted to the NHS or our wonderful local businesses."
The group's Facebook page carries details of businesses doing home deliveries and offering support.
Keira says Spalding COVID Kindness Team now has members from the local council.
Hayley Gedney, who set up a group to cover an area from Sutton Bridge to Moulton, said: "We are going crazy.I now have over 50 volunteers and have helped over 100 people in just the last two days.My phone doesn’t stop."
