Shoppers have been getting their hands on the controversial Donald Trump ‘tell-all’ Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff.

Famously leaked ahead of publication in America, copies sold in the US like wildfire, while Trump tried to ban it ahead of publication.

Sam Buckley, manager at Bookmark in The Crescent, said: “We’d only ordered a couple of copies initially, but we increased our order when the publicity hit!

“I think the publishers were quite surprised at the level of publicity surrounding the release, so it took a while for them to get the books out to everyone.

“People have been very curious about it and there’s been a lot of interest in the story!”

The book is also on sale in the town’s WH Smith store and is number three on its bestselling non-fiction book chart.
