Police called to Spalding street after man spotted near train tracks

A man fixing up his bicycle got more than he bargained for when police paid him a visit.

Police were called to a Sandtone Gardens, near the Sir Halley Stewart Field in Spalding, after the man was spotted close to train tracks.

Officers attended at 9.21am this morning (Friday) after concerns were raised about the man's welfare.

However, it turned out he was simply doing some work on his bike.

Police attended the scene, determining that all was in order and that there were no concerns for the man.
