STAFF from Lincolnshire Co-operative have been recognised for their commitment to their work with awards for customer service and training.
At an awards event, the Society gave out more than 150 Personal Development Awards to colleagues who have completed training above an NVQ Level 2.
Winners of the Customer Service Excellence Awards were also announced and the Society presented the Gold, Silver and Bronze 3 ‘e’s Awards to a select group of staff who had achieved something particularly special during the year and gone the extra mile for customers or colleagues.
Among the winners of the Customer Service Excellence Awards was The Spire Coffee Shop in Long Sutton and joint silver winner of the 3 ‘e’s Awards was the team from Spalding Post Office on Winsover Road.
Branch manager Mandy Beck said: “Winning the award was a nice surprise. We’ll now have to find a good place to display our certificate.
The Spire Coffee Shop also won the Customer Service Excellence Award in 2010. Manager Nicki Sullivan said she was delighted to achieve the double.
“It’s just lovely and quite a compliment for the team. To think we’ve won it again, it’s a privilege and just goes to show we’re still working hard.
